how to turn on “debug mod” in phpbb3? information about db queries and so… is that possible?

im getting a User xxxxx has already more than ‘max_user_connections’ active connections on phpbb3 lastest rc is this something you can fix by your self, or is that some sort of host limit? is there any way to force phpbb to kill all sleeping connections?

you will need to use phpmyadmin and kill all the “locked” (i got no idea how it happend but it happend to me too) connections i had to use mysql administrator on my computer, and let the websever have my ip have access. so i could kill the connections, as i didnt know how it works in phpmyadmin

Just curious if there is a known bug for “this board has no forums” when It does? guess not might just try reinstalling the board… it doesn’t have anything on it yet

can someone help me with a problem im having with my board? When your in a forum viewing a thread, the links above the post that take you back to the forum index will not show the thread your currently in. It stops at the forum.

I really wish phpbb wouldnt list unapproved members in the memberlist - it would make managing the horde of spammers so much easier!

You are looking for a MOD I believe that code is in includes/functions_post.php

it’s not me, it’s the 23 users so far unable to register on a different note… when I’ve banned a user, first IP, then email, I don’t see any indication of that status when I look at the user under Manage User, nor when I test their permissions…where would I see that they’re banned?

DEAR ALL, i urgently need help to solve my problem with cookie and session. I have been having alot of problem with forum site lately… mostly hosted with phpBB and useBB, some vbulletin. The problem is described: “I cannot log into the forum, even with valid username and password, whenever i try to post a reply or new topic (at a logon stage), the page was directed to after the post will… …be the login page again…. this happens to many phpbb and usebb. If i select [Remember my login] before i login… the phpbb will complain that i have invalid session.” I am not really sure what’s wrong…. can’t say it’s browser, coz it happens to firefox, IE and safari. but can’t say it’s forum either, coz phpbb, usebb are affected too.

you are best using the forum to manage your sites memberships, you can then share the borums sessions across the pages on your site, thus users that have registered on the forum and logged in will also be logged into the web site

in phpBB3, how can i add a logo to the footer in only certain circumstances (e.g. referer is somesite.com, front page only)?
