superficially, it looks like you have permissions problems specifically, your webserver does not have permissions to write to the folder containing your templates you can either change the permissions. or. do what it says.

Currently I am redirecting it to user.html that is redirecting it to {U_REGISTER}. I changed it so that only logged in users see the register link. Now I’m going to change it so that only Mods/Admins see the register link.

Note that just because others can’t see the link doesn’t mean they can’t visit the page

Then, I want it be so that only Mods/Admins can add Users by clicking the Register link. Then the link will log them off and load the register page.

Ah. Right, sorry. Anyway, the problem I am having is that when I try to delete a user it takes me to a “page not found”. I go into user management and then select the user. Then I select the delete user and all posts. It takes me to the confirm page but after I say yes it takes me to the “page not found” Any ideas? Also, I get the same message when I try to delete the group I created.

Are you sure all files are present and with the correct file permissions?

The only file permissions I changed was the config.php. And as far as all of the files, the only folder that has been removed post install was the install folder.

Something I did do, to test this problem. I created a seperate upload location, a new database and a new install. after that I registered a new member on the new db and tried to delete it using the admin login. I received the same error message.
